ESPN’s Randy Scott praised state police after his car crash on I-84

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) – ESPN’s Randy Scott praised state police after a car crash on westbound I-84 Sunday morning.

Scott described the harrowing experience on social media: “It rained so hard and so fast that I skidded on I-84 and went through the concrete median.”

The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. while he was traveling on Interchange 291 toward Hartford.

Scott attributed his rescue to the airbags and seatbelt and noted that he survived the accident unharmed.
