Warren man charged with sexually abusing 7-year-old girl

MACOMB COUNTY, Michigan. – A 33-year-old Warren man is accused of sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl.

James Dandre Hall is accused of sexually abusing the child in his home on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

He is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, where the defendant is over 17 years old and the victim is under 13 years old, a felony punishable by life imprisonment. He is also charged with second-degree sexual abuse, where the defendant is over 17 years old and the victim is under 13 years old, a felony punishable by 15 years imprisonment.

Hall was arraigned in Warren 37th District Court, where Warren District Court Chief Judge John Chmura set bail at $100,000 cash/surety. If released, Hall is prohibited from having contact with the victim or any minor. A detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, at 8:45 a.m.
