THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are some shocking findings regarding the suicide of the Instagram influencer in Thiruvananthapuram. According to reports, Binoy, a native of Nedumangad, who was arrested in the case, had raped the girl and then forcibly administered abortion pills to her. Even after the abortion, he raped her many times. He then defamed the girl on social media with the help of his friends. According to the police report, the girl committed suicide due to depression.

Binoy took the girl to a resort in Varkala and raped her. Police said the girl and Binoy, who met through Instagram, were together for two years. Police told the court that she was sexually abused at the resort and at home. They broke off contact five months ago and after that she was abused on social media.

The police requested the court to remand him in custody for three days to further investigate the incident, find the vehicles that had taken the girl to many places and collect evidence from other places. Meanwhile, the defence argued that Binoy was dragged into the case to save someone else.

The girl, who was depressed after breaking up with Binoy, attempted suicide on June 10. She died on June 16 while undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
