NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Rain chances remain very low as heat wave continues in the Mid-State

Today it will be sunny and cloudy with maximum temperatures between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity will be a little lower today.

On Thursday the heat will increase again. Maximum temperatures will be around 35 degrees for most people, with humidity slowly rising again. Partly cloudy skies are expected.

Weather days of the first warning have been announced for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will range between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius with a heat index above 38 degrees. Take all necessary precautions to ensure you and your loved ones stay safe and as comfortable as possible.

Showers and thunderstorms will be rare during these three days, with the highest probability occurring on Sunday, with isolated thunderstorms possible towards the end of the day.
