Apostle John Prah speaks about LilWin’s accident that left a three-year-old boy dead

Kumawood actor Apostle John Prah has shared his side of the story on the accident involving his colleague Kwadwo Nkansah, better known as LilWin, which claimed the life of three-year-old boy Tawiah Ampomah.

He believes that LilWin should seriously engage with the deceased boy’s family and offer compensation to prevent an escalation of the situation, which is currently being investigated by the police.

The pastor also noted that there would be no problem with LilWin attending his movie premiere as long as he has not fully recovered from his accident injuries, provided he has medical clearance to do so.

“If someone is sick but has a significant event, they may still attend depending on their doctor’s recommendation. After that, proper treatment of the illness is essential. The way LilWin interacts with the family will influence whether this matter escalates.

“He had no intention of killing the boy. It was an accident and so I don’t think it will become a serious matter,” he said in a video shared by Express GH TV on its YouTube channel.

Apostle Prah also warned against excessive speed when driving in order to avoid accidents with serious consequences.

“One thing I detest is driving too fast. No matter how good a driver you are, caution is essential because anything can happen at any time,” he added.

Meanwhile, LilWin’s car accident occurred on May 25, 2024.

The collision occurred in front of Grace Baptist Church in Amakom, Kumasi, where LilWin’s Benz and another vehicle collided head-on, resulting in injuries to him and two other persons.

All the injured, including LilWin, were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Despite his injuries, LilWin attended the premiere of his new movie “A Country Called Ghana” at the KNUST CCB Auditorium later that day.

In the meantime, the police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident and find a solution.

LilWin management has pledged support to the grieving family following the child’s death.
