A 41-year-old man from Mapatse settlement in the Central District appeared in court on Friday for the continuation of a rape trial.


According to the indictment, Babolokeng Makhujwana allegedly raped the 63-year-old victim on December 5, 2021 in Mapatse. The defendant, who is in court without legal representation, pleaded not guilty to the crime. He told the court that he was not at the scene of the alleged rape. The matter will continue on June 5.
