Police seek suspect after lewd act incident in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a disturbing incident reported on the morning of Saturday, May 25, 2024.

A 41-year-old woman was the victim of a lewd act by an unknown man while she was near the intersection of Court Street and Second Place in Brooklyn.

According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. when the suspect exposed himself and committed the crime in front of the victim. After the crime, the perpetrator fled the scene on foot, heading west on First Place.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, brown sweatpants, and black shoes. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported following the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information about this case to come forward to assist in the arrest of the suspect. Details or tips can be provided to your local police station or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
