Semi-trailer accident slows traffic on I-77 in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A crash involving a semi-truck has closed one lane of northbound I-77 in part of Fayette County.

According to West Virginia Turnpike Dispatch, the left lane of I-77 northbound at mile marker 65, just before Mahan, is closed due to an accident involving a tractor-trailer.

The West Virginia Turnpike dispatch center said there were minor injuries and the right lane of northbound I-77 was open, but the accident caused traffic backups in the area.
