Mobile police are investigating an early morning shooting on Katye Street

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Mobile Police Department officers are investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning, according to a news release.

According to the news release, officers were called to the 1400 block of Katye Street around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting.

The news release said officers found a man with a minor injury after he was shot at a home by someone they knew.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
