Four people were killed and 41 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine last day, regional authorities said May 16.

Russia targeted a total of ten Ukrainian oblasts: Sumy, Luhansk, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kherson. Casualties were reported in the latter five regions.

In KharkivAccording to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov, two men aged 20 and 40 were injured after Russian troops attacked the city with rockets.

The attack reportedly damaged a five-story building, windows and eight cars.

A Russian attack damaged a dormitory, a clinic and a house in the village of Mala Danylivka Kharkiv OblastFour medical professionals were injured, the governor reported.

According to Syniehubov, three women aged 69, 81 and 87 were injured in Russian attacks on the town of Chuhuiv and the village of Hrafske in Chuhuiv District.

Two other women, one of them 55, were reportedly injured in the villages of Bohuslavka and Kolisnykivka.

A 70-year-old man was injured in a Russian attack on the embattled city of Vovchansk.

Fragments of a launched Russian missile killed two men aged 48 and 51 and injured a 63-year-old in the city DniproGovernor Serhii Lysak said.

The Russian attack reportedly damaged an infrastructure facility, an administrative building, five- and two-story buildings, six houses, an animal shelter, a car and a power line. Several fires were extinguished.

A Russian glide bomb attack on residential areas in Kherson 19 people were injured, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. The attack reportedly damaged 12 buildings, 11 houses, and educational and medical facilities, including a kindergarten.

Russian troops also killed two people in the village of Karlivka in 2020 Donetsk Oblastreported Governor Vadym Filashkin.

A total of six people were injured in the city Mykolaiv during a Russian missile attack on civilian infrastructure, according to Governor Vitalii Kim. The attack reportedly damaged a residential building, cars, windows and a business.

Two women and a man were also injured in Russian attacks in Vasylivka district Zaporizhia Oblast, reported Governor Ivan Fedorov. Russia reportedly fired 260 times on seven settlements, he said.
