3 people shot in apparent road rage case in north Houston, police say

Houston police are investigating a shooting that sent three people to the hospital Saturday night.

HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating a shooting that started with a minor fender-bender in north Houston. Three people, including a 16-year-old innocent bystander, were shot dead.

Police say two vehicles were involved in a crash on West Rankin Road near Ella. Two guys got out of the vehicles and started arguing.

Both took out their guns and shot each other. One of them was hit several times and seriously injured. The other was shot in the stomach.

Police said the teen was standing outside a nearby taco stand when a bullet hit him in the back.
