Authorities search for suspect in sexual assault in Western New York

Police and the Hudson County District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit say they are investigating a sexual assault that occurred over the weekend in Western New York.

According to authorities, the victim, a 40-year-old woman, was grabbed by the hair and sexually assaulted by a man near Hudson Avenue and 51st Street around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

No arrests were made.
