Service on the Tokaido Shinkansen line partially suspended

Central Japan Railway has suspended bullet train service between Hamamatsu and Nagoya stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line.

The railway company suspended operations early Monday morning after a maintenance vehicle derailed in Aichi Prefecture.

The company expects that Shinkansen operations will not be able to resume normal until the afternoon at the earliest.
