A teenager is in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries

A Harrison man was arrested after shooting at a group of teenagers playing “ding-dong-ditch.” Police arrived in Harrison around 1 a.m. Saturday after numerous gunshots and screaming were reported. When officers arrived at the scene, they found blood on the street. One of the teens had gone to Bridgton Hospital with a gunshot wound. A police investigation revealed that after the teens rang the doorbell of 91 Waterford Road, 30-year-old Vincent Martin of Harrison pulled out a handgun and shot the teens multiple times. One victim was shot in the right calf. Martin was arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault and reckless conduct. He is being held on $10,000 bail. Police have not released the victim’s name.
