1 dead and another seriously injured in accident on La Tuna Canyon Road in Tujunga – Daily News

A two-vehicle accident in the Tujunga area on Thursday resulted in one death and one serious injury.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident was reported around 12:50 p.m. in the 8400 block of West La Tuna Canyon Road.

“The LAFD responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident and found a person trapped in each vehicle,” the LAFD said in a statement. “Firefighters extricated a man in his 30s and transported him to a local hospital in serious condition.” The other person was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was initially no information available about the identity of the fatally injured person. The circumstances of the accident were still being investigated.
