Woman in critical condition after tubing accident – ​​WRBI Radio

(Franklin/Union Counties, IN) – An unidentified woman is in critical condition following an accident on Brookville Lake.

Indiana State Conservation Officials said the 45-year-old victim was rafting with two other people near the Fairfield Causeway on Sunday afternoon when they hit a large wake and were thrown out.

The woman became unconscious and had to be pulled out of the water.

A paramedic who happened to be on the scene provided immediate assistance to the woman and she was flown to the hospital.

The other two people in the subway were not injured.
