Middletown man charged with sexual assault after alleged incidents involving minors

MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut (WTNH) – A 60-year-old Middletown man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation by the Eastern District Criminal Investigation Department into allegations of sexual assault by a minor.

According to a press release, Scott Predom was arrested on a warrant in Rockville Superior Court. Predom was charged with second and third degree sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16 and endangering minors.

In an affidavit, a 14-year-old male victim claims Predom sexually abused him over 20 times during the summer of 2022 while he lived in Willington, East Hampton and Enfield.

Predom is currently being held on $750,000 bail.
