The coroner identifies a Lancaster Co. man who died in a lawnmower accident

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) – The Lancaster County coroner has released the identity of the man who died in a lawnmower accident Wednesday.

PREVIOUS COVERAGE: The coroner was called to the scene of a lawn mower accident in East Hempfield Twp.

According to the coroner’s report, 72-year-old Arthur Best died outside his home in the 1900 block of Orville Road at 1:10 p.m.

First responders on the scene found Best under a riding mower, and investigators from the coroner’s office said he was at the bottom of a steep slope on his property.

The cause and manner of Best’s death remain unknown, the coroner said.
