OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Oshkosh police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Wisconsin Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a body outside.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

With the assistance of the Fond du Lac Police Department, a suspect was arrested.

Officials are not currently looking for any other suspects and believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
