Ohio teenager reportedly injured by machete attack in driving aggression incident

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two men are facing charges after a 16-year-old boy was injured in a machete attack during a reported road rage incident.

Patric Tucker, 38, is charged with aggravated assault and aggravated robbery in connection with the incident, according to Hamilton County Common Pleas Court records. Brian Benjamin, 40, is charged with obstruction of justice, records show.

WLWT Channel 5 reported that the incident occurred Monday when two cars were stopped at a red light. Tucker and Benjamin are accused of opening the front door of the teen’s car and using the machete to cut his arm and leg, then stealing his shoes.

The teen was taken to a hospital and his wounds required 10 stitches, WLWT reports. No further details were released.

Tucker was released on bail Tuesday, according to court records. Benjamin also posted bail, records show.

The incident remains under investigation.
