Police investigate shooting that left one dead and three injured in Vaughan, Ontario

VAUGHAN, Ontario – York Regional Police say they are investigating after a shooting in Vaughan, Ontario left one person dead and three people injured.

According to police, officers responded to reports of gunshots at a home in the Woodbridge area shortly before 9 a.m. Friday.

They say officers found four people in the home with gunshot wounds and one of them was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, three people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Investigators believe it was a targeted shot and are currently looking for suspects.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
