1 dead and 1 injured in broad daylight shooting near Suitland playground – NBC4 Washington

One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in broad daylight in Suitland, Maryland, on Thursday evening.

The shooting occurred around 6:40 p.m. in the busy courtyard of a row house development in the 4700 block of Towne Park Road. There is a playground in the courtyard.

Police found one man with a fatal wound and another injured.

The police are asking the public for help in finding the suspect.

“We’re in a residential area, so there are probably people who have cameras on their doorbells, or on a nice night like this, there are probably a lot of witnesses outside, so we’re urging anyone who has information or maybe video footage to come forward. Police have not released any information about the man who was killed.
