Local football‘The Jamaica Football Federation has suspended the selection of winger Leon Bailey. The JFF says the decision was made in light of the recent circumstances surrounding Bailey.‘s comments and non-participation in the team for the Copa America 2024, despite being selected.

His stated wish to take a break from his national duties was also taken into account and the suspension of his selection is intended to prevent further misunderstandings, according to the JFF.

They have also referred this matter to David Watt, the newly appointed Chair of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
