30-day suspension of toll in Cavitex is praised

SEN. Bong Revilla, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Works, commended the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) for its decision to suspend toll collection on certain sections of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (Cavitex), a measure aimed at easing the financial burden on the public due to the rising cost of fuel.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced a 30-day suspension of toll collection during the triple Cavitex event marking the groundbreaking of the Cavitex-Calax Interchange and Cavitex C5 Interchange Section 3B, as well as the opening of the Cavitex C5 Interchange Sucat Interchange (Section 2) held earlier the same day.
