Houston and San Antonio named among the ‘dirtiest’ cities in the United States

Dallas may not be among the best cities in the country for summer travel, but there are plenty of other places in Texas that offer fun and amazing experiences.

You may want to pack some wet wipes in your luggage.

A recent LawnStarter study analyzed more than 150 of the largest cities in the United States, focusing on pollution, living conditions, infrastructure and resident satisfaction, and found that two major Texas cities are among the dirtiest in the country.

In fact, Houston tops the list of dirtiest cities in the country, with LawnStarter finding that Houston is the third most polluted city, third in greenhouse gas emissions from large industrial facilities and has the biggest cockroach problem.

San Antonio wasn’t far behind H-Town, ranking 7thth dirtiest city in the United States

Other Texas cities that made this list include El Paso (No. 29), Dallas (No. 32), Amarillo (No. 35) and Fort Worth (No. 40).
