1 dead after crash involving CATS bus and motorcycle in southeast Charlotte – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE – According to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police, one person was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and a Charlotte Area Transportation Service bus in southeast Charlotte on Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Independence Boulevard at Eastway Drive. CATS told Channel 9 that a motorcyclist struck a vehicle and then crashed under a CATS bus.

It is unclear whether the motorcyclist died.
