Rapper Enchanting, former protégé of Gucci Mane, dies at 26 – WFTV

Rapper Enchanting has died, according to several sources, including rapper Gucci Mane, who expressed his condolences on his Instagram account.

Enchanting was born Channing Nicole Larry.

When and where she died was not disclosed. According to People.com, false reports of her death began circulating on Monday. The cause of death was not disclosed, but several media outlets reported that she had been placed on life support.

“So sad to say rest in peace to such an amazing young lady, a true star, we will all miss you Chant @luvenchanting 😢 💔,” Gucci wrote under a photo of her on his account.

Gucci Mane, born Radric Delantic Davis, founded 1017 Records, where Enchanting first signed in 2020. She appeared on three albums before leaving the label in 2023, New York radio station Hot 97 reported.

Her profile on 1017 Records states that the rapper, who was 26 at the time of her death, began to become interested in music when she was around 18 and focused on her craft after graduating high school.

“I had to be comfortable with my voice,” she told 1017’s website. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording helps me find the style I’m good at.”

“Other people can relate to the things I say. I can help someone in any situation, they can listen to me and find peace,” the rapper continued.

The rapper’s songs include “Shoulda Known,” “He Can’t Reach,” “Tell Me Why,” and “No Luv.”
