Suspected teenage rapist ‘stalked’ his victim before committing horrific sexual assault

An alleged teenage rapist stalked his young victim and watched pornography of sleeping girls in the days before terrorizing her in her own bed.

Samuel Aldrich pleaded guilty to brutally attacking the student, and the judge described the ordeal that made her life “hell.”

The victim’s foster parents sat in the courtroom just a few meters away from their daughter’s rapist.

She and Samuel Aldrich’s family learned shocking details about the attack on the 16-year-old.

The 19-year-old turned himself in to the police and pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, rape and indecent assault.

The court assumed that the attack in May this year was deliberate.

Aldrich began planning four days in advance by taking photographs of the victim’s home in Cheltenham.

In the hours before the attack, he searched Google for pornography featuring sleeping girls.

Later that night, he broke into her backyard and took off his shoes.

An hour later, he was caught by the victim’s father and fled.

But within two hours he returned and terrorized the victim.

The court heard that the victim was awakened by Aldrich kneeling beside her bed.

She pinched herself to see if she was dreaming, but she wasn’t.

The judge described the next two hours as hell: “The victim was in her own home, in her own bed, and a complete stranger was sexually abusing her.

“It must have been scary.”

During the gruesome incident, the girl was digitally raped and sexually abused.

Her attacker said he had a knife. She begged him to stop, but at the same time spoke to the young man in the hope that he would not harm her further.

After the attack, Aldrich – who took photographs of his victim’s genital area – spoke to the girl and offered her money.

He then fled, but later turned himself in to police after seeing media reports.

The court heard that Aldrich suffers from an autistic disorder, is remorseful and has prospects of rehabilitation.

However, his defense could not provide any information about the reasons for the attack on the girl.

Although he lived only 350 meters away from the victim, he did not know her.

Aldrich will be sentenced next week.
