Kendal “Tiny” Pinder – the basketball player and rapist who rose to fame with the Perth Wildcats – was allowed to stay in Australia under an order signed by the then Coalition government two years before he attacked another woman.

After weeks of pressure on Labour Immigration Minister Andrew Giles over visa cancellations reversed under his watch, former Immigration Minister Richard Coleman was forced to answer questions about Pinder and his visa himself.
