Hundreds gather at Atlanta intersection as cars perform stunts and fireworks are set off – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Hundreds of people were seen in a busy Atlanta intersection over the weekend as cars performed dangerous stunts around them.

New video shared with Channel 2 Action News shows people gathered on North Ave. and Glen Iris Dr. in Old Fourth Ward late Sunday night into early Monday morning.

The video shows people standing in the middle of the intersection as cars do donuts around them.

The crowd begins to disperse moments before fireworks are visible in the area.

People with assault rifles could also be seen walking around the intersection as horns blared in the background.

Atlanta police say they responded to the scene that night. A person was arrested and released after receiving a ticket for non-driving street racing and dangerous driving.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
