The Israeli military arrested eight Palestinians during the storming of the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya, the Wafa news agency reported.

Local media reports that among those arrested are the father and mother of a man wanted by Israel. The Israeli military is said to have arrested the couple in order to pressure their son to surrender.

According to Wafa, Israeli forces also arrested three men from the nearby town of Azzun and two men from Kafr Thulth.

Four Palestinians were arrested in an Israeli military raid on the town of Madama, south of Nablus, while a university student was arrested in an raid on the town of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.

Israeli attacks have been reported in several locations in the occupied West Bank. These include:

  • The city of Nablus
  • The city of Hebron
  • The town of Bidya, west of Salfit
  • The cities of Kafr Laqif, Seneria and Hableh
