On Monday evening, shots were fired on Route 30 in Manchester Township: Police

According to Northern York County Regional Police, shots were fired on Route 30 in Manchester Township on Monday evening, damaging a vehicle and prompting several emergency calls.

The 22-year-old driver of the damaged vehicle was not injured, according to a press release.

The police assume that it was a targeted attack.

A 2007 Kia SUV was traveling eastbound on Route 30 east of Breezeview Drive when someone in another vehicle also traveling in the same direction began shooting at it, the release said. The Kia moved into the westbound lane and ran over a curb, coming to a stop on a grassy area at the entrance to Manchester Crossroads.
