Pedestrian hit and killed in hit-and-run in Essex

BALTIMORE – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in Essex on Saturday night, according to Baltimore County police.

According to officials, the pedestrian was traveling on northbound 702 and I-695 when he was struck by a vehicle that did not stop at the scene of the accident.

According to police, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating.
