Man dies in shooting in North Englewood

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Maryland – A man was shot and killed in North Englewood Thursday night, sparking a homicide investigation.

Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to Hawthorne Street, at the corner of Pinebrook Avenue and Landover Road, around 11:10 p.m. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead on the spot. No information is currently available about his identity, name, age or origin.

No further information was given about the persons who might be of interest in the case.
