Mobile man arrested in connection with shooting at Diamonds Convenience Store: Police

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – Mobile Police have identified and arrested a man in connection with a shooting at Diamonds Convenience Store that left one person with non-life-threatening injuries on Friday.

Samuel Isaiah Aarry Robinson, 24, of Mobile, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting.

Robinson is charged with four counts: obstruction of justice by use of a false identity, first-degree theft of property, first-degree assault and possession/receiving a controlled substance.

On Friday, officers arrived at a local hospital around 4:45 p.m. where a gunshot victim was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the 1300 block of Congress Street.

LOCATION OF INCIDENT:

Investigators concluded that the shooting was the result of an argument.

Robinson will appear in court for a bail hearing on Friday.
