Search alert issued for missing indigenous woman last seen in February

DENVER (KDVR) – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued a missing Native American search alert for a 21-year-old woman.

Sara Lemke has not been seen for three months.

The police described Lemke as follows:

• Female
• 21 years old
• Brown hair and brown eyes
• 5 feet, 9 inches tall
• Weighs 110 pounds,
• Indigenous – Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux

It is not known what she was wearing last.

Lemke was last seen on February 29 around 8 p.m. near West Girard Avenue and Federal Boulevard in Englewood.

Sara has health problems that require medication, but police believe she is unlikely to receive it.

Law enforcement agencies are concerned about their safety.
