Police are searching for a suspect after a driver was shot during a road rage incident in University City

UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. – University City police are searching for the man they say shot another driver in a road rage incident Wednesday morning.

University City police said officers arrived at the 8400 block of Delmar Boulevard around 8:30 a.m. and found a car with a single occupant who had been shot in the arm.

An investigation determined the incident began on Interstate 170 and ended with shots fired on the interstate’s exit ramp to Delmar Boulevard. According to police, no other cars were struck or affected.

The shooter drove away in a late-model black Toyota sedan. He was last seen heading west on the 8600 block of Delmar Boulevard.
