It has been reported that a 36-year-old man in Ghaziabad impregnated his 14-year-old adopted daughter by repeatedly raping her. The police have now registered an FIR on the complaint of the girl’s mother and the accused father has also been arrested.

Ghaziabad: Now, a heartbreaking incident has come to light in the Shalimar Garden area of ​​Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh that has tarnished relationship boundaries. It has been reported that a 36-year-old man impregnated his 14-year-old adopted daughter through repeated rape. The shocking ordeal came after the underage teenager was found lying on the floor with dizziness during her school days. She was taken to the hospital where, after medical examinations, it was revealed that the small child was five months pregnant. When questioned by her mother, the victim’s girl stated that her accused father had been sexually exploiting her for the last six months.

Minor rape, threatened for over six months: officials

According to police officials, a woman visited Shalimar Garden police station on Sunday to report that her husband had sexually exploited their daughter. In her story to police officers, she explained that she and her husband adopted her brother-in-law’s daughter at birth and the girl is now in eighth grade. The woman works as a domestic help in local associations, while her husband is a gardener in a psychiatric hospital in Delhi. According to the woman, her husband first committed these unlawful acts on their daughter in December 2023 when she was at work. Since then, he raped his daughter and threatened to kill her if she revealed anything to anyone.

Accused arrested!

According to the latest developments, the police have now filed an FIR on the complaint of the girl’s mother and the accused father has also been arrested.

The Hindustan ACP Shalimar Garden Siddharth Gautam reported that “based on the complaint, a case has been registered and the accused has been arrested. We will take further action based on the medical report and opinion.”

Possibility of an abortion?

It is further noted that according to the officials, due to the pregnancy of a minor, both cases will be heard before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and further procedures and actions related to the medical health of girls will take place in accordance with them. If there is no threat to the minor’s life, an abortion can be performed. However, it is worth mentioning that according to the court’s new guidelines, an abortion can only be performed up to the 28th week of pregnancy.
