Assets of Mandsaur drug smuggler Dhanotia worth ₹9.45 Cr frozen

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): The Mandsaur police on Saturday froze drug smuggler Anil Dhanotia’s illegal properties worth Rs 9.45 crore, including hotels, houses and other assets acquired through drug trafficking. The action comes after police seized over 3 kg of opium in Dhanotia on April 28. The confiscated properties cannot be sold or transferred. After compiling the details of Dhanotia’s assets, SAFEMA and the NDPS office in Mumbai issued an order to freeze property acquired through the illegal drug trade.

The frozen assets include Nakoda Hotel on Neemuch-Mandsaur Highway, two houses in Pipliya Mandi and two in Limbawas village. The police published information boards about these properties and prohibited their sale, purchase, mortgage or transfer.

Led by SP Anurag Sujania, SDOP Narendra Solanki, TI Anil Raghuvanshi of Narayangarh Police Station, Inspector Tejendra Singh Sengar and police conducted the operation and ensured compliance with the Mumbai directive. The success of Narayangarh Police in this operation was lauded by SP Sujania and ASP Gautam Singh Solanki. The seized assets represent a significant blow to the illicit drug trade in the region and demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement to combat such activities.

Madhya Pradesh: Man arrested for sexual assault on minor daughter in Agar

Agar (Madhya Pradesh): Agar Kotwali police have arrested a man on charges of sexually abusing his minor daughter since she was 16 years old. According to Kotwali Police Station Superintendent Anil Malviya, a girl reported that her father and paternal uncle had been sexually abusing her for many years.

She also accused her father of giving her pills that contained sex hormones. The girl confided in her friend about the situation, but her family didn’t believe her. In order to secretly record her father’s misdeeds, the child purchased a hidden camera from an online retailer. A case has been registered against both the accused under several sections of the POCSO Act. The girl’s father is currently in police custody while her uncle is on the run.
