Calm weather for Mother’s Day. The rain returns on Monday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) — Clouds are expected to clear by Saturday evening. However, temperatures will be on the cooler side as the evening progresses, dropping from the low 60s to the mid 40s Sunday morning. So if you plan to go out and see the Northern Lights on Saturday evening, you’ll need a warm layer.

Mother’s Day Sunday will be a very nice day because of the weather! The winds will calm down, the skies will become sunnier, and temperatures will peak in the low to mid 70s!

We’ll start the work week dry next week, but showers will move in late Monday and rain will be off and on throughout the day on Tuesday. Then our next best chance of rain arrives on Friday. Temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday and Wednesday as the weather system brings cooler air on Tuesday.
