Dogger Bank issues a statement on the incident on site

On May 1, a single rotor blade on an installed turbine at the Dogger Bank A offshore wind farm was damaged.

In line with safety precautions, the company said the surrounding marine area has been closed and the relevant authorities have been notified. No one was injured or in the area at the time of the damage.

The company adds that it is working with turbine manufacturer GE Vernova, which has launched an investigation into the incident.

Turbine assembly has now resumed.
