Prince William and Kate Middleton release statement after ‘disgusting’ knife attack in Southport

Prince William And Kate Middleton expressed its deepest condolences in a public statement on Monday in response to a cruel knife attack in Southport, England.

“As parents, we cannot even begin to imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today must be going through,” the Prince and Princess of Wales said in a message posted on social media on Monday afternoon. “We send our love, thoughts and prayers to everyone involved in this horrific and abhorrent attack.”

“Thank you also to the emergency services who, despite the most horrific scenes, showed compassion and professionalism when your community needed you most,” concluded William and Kate, who have three children together – Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6).

Two children were murdered and several others injured in a devastating attack that took place during a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance class in Southport on Monday morning.

According to reports, a 17-year-old man was arrested in connection with the knife attack. He was taken into police custody on charges of murder and attempted murder. BBC News reports.

King Charles III. Queen Camilla also addressed the violence in a public statement, saying: “My wife and I were deeply shocked to hear of this absolutely horrific incident.”

“We send our deepest condolences, prayers and sympathy to the families and loved ones of those who have so tragically lost their lives and to all those affected by this truly horrific attack,” Charles concluded.

The event was advertised specifically for children between the ages of 6 and 11. Details of the children who were victims of the attack and the identity of the attacker were not disclosed due to their age.

The police said BBC News The motive for the attack is “unclear”, but it is not being treated as a terrorist incident.
