Good Samaritan dies while helping driver near Edinburgh

According to BCSO, a car was stranded on the side of US 31 near W 800 North when a man police described as a “good Samaritan” stopped to help the stranded driver.

According to police, another driver hit and killed the “Good Samaritan” without stopping.

The Bartholomew County Coroner says the victim will be identified once family is notified.
