Beryl: Cooling Centers and Food and Ice Distribution Locations in Houston

Hundreds of thousands of people are still without power. Here are some places you can get help and a nice place to stay.

HOUSTON — Hundreds of thousands of customers were still without power Sunday morning, nearly a week after Beryl made landfall. Without power can be deadly in Houston’s heat, so the city and surrounding communities have set up cooling centers for those affected by the storm and distribution points for people to pick up food and water. For maps and locations, you can also visit the City of Houston website.
