Bath woman charged with injuring police officer and paramedic – Finger Lakes Daily News

A woman from Bath will have to appear in court after allegedly injuring a police officer and a paramedic.

Shortly before midnight on July 9, police responded to a home on West Steuben Street for a report of a woman screaming. Investigation revealed that Alesha Hunt was inside the home in violation of a full protection order. When officers attempted to arrest the 31-year-old, Hunt physically resisted and attempted to bite her. During the struggle, a Bath Police sergeant sustained a leg injury.

During transport to the hospital, Hunt was accused of intentionally kicking and injuring a member of the paramedic crew.

Hunt was charged with two counts of assault, attempted assault and aggravated family crime, all felonies. She was also charged with criminal contempt, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors.
