VDOT: Incident on I-64 causes significant delays on the HRBT

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – According to VDOT, motorists can expect delays on I-64 in Norfolk Thursday evening.

Near 15th View Street, the eastbound lanes are closed due to police and security operations. Traffic is backed up for approximately two miles. The HRBT is experiencing significant delays due to the incident, and traffic does not appear to be flowing through the tunnels while the incident is being resolved.
