Wake held for man killed in Haverstraw

The relatives of a man shot dead in Haverstraw said their final goodbyes on Wednesday evening.

A wake for 29-year-old Cristian Alvarado will be held at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville.

Alvarado was found lying on the ground next to a vehicle that had collided with a parked car on Fairmount Avenue.

He leaves behind his wife and two children.

Police are still searching for Yandie Martinez, who is allegedly the suspect.
