YouTuber IShowSpeed after mob attack in Norway

YouTube sensation IShowSpeed has established himself as one of the platform’s leading content creators thanks to his dynamic personality and sense of humor. Recently, the US-based content creator, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., had a harrowing experience while live streaming in Norway. The online entertainer gave his fans a virtual tour of the Scandinavian country, but what started as an exciting exploration quickly turned into a harrowing ordeal when hundreds of overly excited people attacked him.

Accordingly metrothe YouTuber was live streaming as he was followed by fans asking for pictures. But in no time, more fans started coming and he said, “What is this? What the hell? No, no, no, no, I literally set foot in Norway for 10 seconds, bro. No. Let me enjoy Norway.” He then went into a souvenir shop, but within minutes, the mob had grown so large that several guards had to block the entrance to keep them from getting in. This also meant that IShowSpeed could not leave the store. He spent the next hour strapped in the store, but somehow the situation got worse. Security then carried the YouTube sensation through the mob and into a car parked outside the store. Chaos broke out, as the videos below show.

Take a look below:

After they escaped and before cutting off the stream, the YouTuber told his viewers: “I don’t think I’ll ever come back here bro. I’m not even trolling. I love all my Norwegian fans but you guys just don’t listen.” “I’ve been to every country and it was awesome, there was a lot going on but that was just inhumane,” he said.

Separately, IShowSpeed also expressed his dismay on X (formerly Twitter). “I’m never coming back to fucking Norway,” he wrote.

In his stream, the YouTuber also said that he called the Norwegian police for help, but was told he would not receive any help until he finished his stream. “The police said they would not help me until I finished my stream,” he told his viewers.

His clips are usually funny, controversial, or a bit of both – they definitely get people talking about what he’s up to.
