Active murder investigation in Fullerton

Fullerton Police Department officers responded to a call in the 2400 block of W. Valencia Ave. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at approximately 6:13 p.m., on reports of a fight in progress.

Upon arrival, officers found two 20-year-old men lying in the street with significant stab wounds. Fullerton Police officers immediately began life-saving measures on both victims. One male victim was transported to a local trauma center where he was pronounced deceased. The second victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Fullerton Police Detectives were called to begin an active investigation.

The suspect(s) are currently still at large. According to initial investigations, it appears that this incident is related to gang crime.
The Orange County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased victim.
