Shreveport man found shot in driveway in Cedar Grove neighborhood

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KSLA) – A man was shot in the neck and left to die in a driveway near East 70th Street.

At midnight on June 29, Shreveport police responded to a call of a shooting in the 7200 block of Bethany Street in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. When officers arrived, they discovered an unconscious man in the driveway.

The unresponsive man appeared to have been shot in the neck area.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A suspect wearing dark clothing was seen leaving the area towards Turner Lane.

No arrests have been made so far.
